Analemmatic Sundial

title image
The Topiary Garden is the location of an analemmatic sundial that was constructed by Mr. du Pont in 1939. It took eight years of daily readings to perfect the sundial, which is accurate to within two minutes. A sign on the site explains how to read the sundial.
